MITTAN
MITTAN proposes modern ethnic clothing based on the history of clothing and fabrics that remain around the world. By reinterpreting flat structures and combining them with the inherent functionality of natural materials, we aim to create clothing that will last for a long time and not be limited by the passing of the times.
-Production Background-
The fabrics used are mainly hand-woven from machine-woven areas in Japan, such as Enshu, Banshu, and Bishu, as well as from Asia, such as India and Laos. The designers visit the factories themselves whenever possible, and are also working on developing original materials. The sewing thread is mainly cotton, and the woven labels, quality labels, buttons, and other accessories are made from natural materials, which are sewn at affiliated factories in Japan. In addition to regular dyes, the fabrics are dyed using plants, indigo, insects, and minerals, and the uneven color transitions are also seen as beautiful.
-Regarding repairs to MITTAN products-
MITTAN clothes are designed not for one season, but for a long time, with the assumption that you will continue to wear them even when the fabric is worn out. Therefore, we accept repairs so that you can continue to use them for a long time. For details on repairs, please see below.
-Regarding MITTAN size-
MITTAN items are unisex. Sizes are indicated as 1, 2, and 3. As a rough guide, 1 is a ladies' M, 2 is a men's M, and 3 is a men's L. Please choose the size according to your preference, whether you want to wear it compactly or loosely oversized.
