HERILL(Herill)
A unisex brand launched in 2019 AUTUM & WINTER by designer Hiroyuki Oshima, who has experience with designer brands and planning for a major select shop after graduating from Bunka Fashion College.
The brand name is a portmanteau of Heritage(inherited culture, history, legacy, and tradition) and Will(future and hereafter).
The brand creates products that are both serious and interesting by developing new concepts for materials and working with traditional factories backed by the highest quality techniques and experience in Japan.
"Indigoherringbone P41 Coverall Jacket"
Based on the 1940s American Marine Corps herringbone coverall, this piece has been modernized using an indigo herringbone cotton-wool blend fabric.
Distinct from the typical 100% cotton P-41, it features the smoothness and loft unique to wool, as well as a distinctive, deep texture and rich expression.
While retaining the ruggedness unique to military wear, it is crafted with a generous fit through the body and sleeves, translating it into a modern fit characteristic of
HERILL. It feels neither heavy nor stiff, and its exquisite balance allows you to exude an air of mature elegance simply by throwing it on casually.
