[Design] The shoulders are sloped and the sleeves have natural shoulders.
The silhouette is roomy in both the body and sleeves.
[Material] The warp threads are made of doubled extra-long staple uneven yarns, while the weft threads are made of alternating highly uneven and less uneven yarns, creating a herringbone weave. This creates a natural unevenness in the warp and weft that is unique to vintage fabrics, a result of the poor spinning technology of the time. By dyeing with a colorfast dye, we have created a herringbone fabric with a vintage feel, while still retaining the sheen and texture of extra-long staple cotton.
[Processing] The exquisite dirt and uneven fade have been reproduced by hand by artisans without being too dirty.
