A.PRESSE is a brand that adds value to our wardrobe. This project aims to think about and create the kind of clothes that will make it into the first team.
I have a problem where even though I buy a lot of different clothes, I always end up wearing my favorites.
That's why my fashion is so ordinary and boring.
To be honest, I want to increase the number of my favorites.
I want to have a lot of things that I want to wear every day.
That's all I have as a desire for clothing.
If you look in a second-hand clothing store, you can find clothes that you can wear for a long time with a high probability,
What I really want is modern clothes to go with the vintage items.
All the cool people around me are like that,
I admire how she skillfully mixes new and old things together.
Even though there is so much stuff and information out there,
Why can't I find a favorite that will make it into the first team?
I was exhausted from all the pointless shopping.
In order to solve this mystery, I decided to create an editorial department that could both create and disseminate information.
"1st Type Denim Jacket"
[Design] The number of buttons, pocket shape, rivet placement, and stitching color are based on the Levi's wartime model, but have been adapted. The length has been slightly extended to make it comfortable to wear without being too short.
The original design had a slight slope at the shoulders, which caused wrinkles to form from the shoulders to the armholes, but the silhouette was improved by lowering the slope at the shoulders and raising the sleeve cap slightly. Original tuck buttons are also used.
[Material] The fabric is made of 13oz red selvedge indigo denim, tightly woven to replicate the threading used in the 501XX from the late 50's to early 60's .
[Processing] We recreated the vintage look and went through a process that can only be achieved by hand, resulting in a processed look that is reminiscent of an art piece.
* The original tack buttons are made of iron, so they may change over time and become blackened or rusty.
* Since the product has been processed, the texture, color, and damage will vary from item to item .
