A.PRESSE
A.PRESSE is a project that involves thinking about and creating the kind of clothing that can become a part of our wardrobes.

I have a problem where even though I buy a lot of different clothes, I always end up wearing my favorites.
That's why my fashion is so ordinary and boring.
To be honest, I want to increase the number of favorites.
I want to have lots of things that I want to wear every day.
That's all I have as a clothing aspiration.

If you look in a second-hand clothing store, you have a high chance of finding clothes that you can wear for a long time,
What I actually want is some modern clothes to go with the vintage items.
All the cool people around me are like that.
I admire how she skillfully mixes new and old things together.

Even though there is so much stuff and information out there,
Why can't you find a favorite to make the first team?

I was exhausted from all the unnecessary shopping.
In order to solve this mystery, I decided to create an editorial department that could both create and disseminate information.

"1st Type Denim Jacket"
[Design] The number of buttons, pocket shape, rivet location, stitching color, etc. are based on the war model. The size is one size larger than previous denim jackets. Original tuck buttons are used.

[Material] The fabric is a 13.5oz Kibata denim that was analyzed from a world war model. Yarn is unraveled from old clothes and spun with weakly twisted nep yarn and cotton leaf residue. The uneven shape is reproduced by recreating natural machine unevenness due to the cotton mix and machine settings, and the weft thread has been analyzed and its rotation speed and shape have been changed from the warp thread. The color of the cotton itself is now produced with a high whiteness through breeding, but American cotton (EMOT "Eastern, Memphis, New Orleans, Texas") is blended in to reproduce a creamy color close to the brown cotton of the time. It reproduces a darker indigo color than regular cotton without any additives such as sulfur.

[Processing] A wash finish reminiscent of a mint condition one-wash, which is almost unheard of in vintage items. *Please note that as this product is made from raw denim, there may be some dimensional errors.

*The original tack buttons are made of iron and may discolor or rust over time.
