"KUCHA"
An object fired in a kerosene kiln using Kucha, a natural material that can only be found in Okinawa.
Kucha means "mud rock" in the Okinawan dialect. It is clay-like soil that has been deposited in the sea of Okinawa for many years.
Depending on the ingredients contained in Kucha itself and the power of the flame, it can take on a variety of different expressions. Each piece is unique, and you can feel the strength and beauty of it as if it were created by nature.
