"San Joaquin Cotton Shorts"
These shorts are made from chino cloth, which is carefully selected from the yarn to achieve the quality of vintage rice cotton, which has both a soft and dry texture. It is spun from cotton harvested in California's San Joaquin Valley, and is one of the highest quality, high-quality cottons grown in the fertile land and clear air of San Joaquin. This Sunjokin cotton is used for the warp thread, and the natural uneven thread of Zimbabwean cotton from Africa is used for the weft thread to create a richly expressive chino cloth ridged feel.
The design is based on Gurkha shorts, with a zipper on the front, a 2-way tuck, and a waist belt.
