PETROSOLAUM
The brand started as PETROSOLAUM in 2012-13AW .
We aim to create products that combine, at a high level, both tools to protect the feet and pieces of art.
We respect the animals we use as materials and create shoes that reflect new challenges and our own unique ideas based on traditional manufacturing methods that have been passed down in order to bring out the best in their properties and characteristics.
The brand name is a combination of the word Petroleum , which means oil, and the designer's name , Sotaro .
The fingerprint mark on the insole, which is based on the motif of oily fingertips, conveys the message of a commitment to handcrafted work and deep consideration of manufacturing.

Tyrolean shoes made from ostrich and horse leather.
The sole is made of crepe with suction cup-like Vimram attached for excellent grip.
The removable cup insole is soft and feels like a sneaker, making it comfortable to wear even for long periods of walking.
When molding the upper of the shoe to fit a wooden last, the surface of the leather is pressed to conform to the shape of the shoe, resulting in a comfortable fit.
