HERILL
A unisex brand launched in Autumn/Winter 2019 by designer Hiroyuki Oshima, who, after graduating from Bunka Fashion College, gained experience in planning for designer brands and major select shops.
The brand name is a portmanteau of "Heritage" (inherited culture, history, legacy, tradition) and "Will" (future, hereafter).
By developing materials with new concepts in collaboration with traditional factories backed by Japan's highest level of technology and experience, they create products that are genuinely interesting.
"HL Rugged denim"
This piece features realistic fading and distressing as if worn for many years, complemented by delicate repair work. Despite the substantial, thick fabric, the processing gives it a soft texture that feels comfortable against the skin. It features a relaxed, gently tapered silhouette with the loose fit around the waist characteristic of HERILL.
