【Design】The neckline and hem ribbing feature contrasting color stitching as a nod to the repaired look.
Only the stitching remains as a trace of where the chest tape was removed, and there is a fabric patch on the left sleeve as a repair mark. The shoulder slope has been increased compared to the original design, and while the expression of the original sleeve line is retained, the sleeves have been made more natural and improved for easier wearing.
While maintaining a generous fit around the body, the hem is tightly ribbed to create a rounded silhouette and a compact balance.
The length of the garment is set to be slightly shorter, with a minimal difference between the front and back hem, creating an easy-to-wear balance.
[Material] Outer fabric : Ultra-high density silk cotton double cloth. Characterized by a subdued, elegant sheen and a soft texture with a restrained firmness.
Lining : Made with silk nylon wash taffeta. The finishing process causes the silk to fibrillate, creating a characteristic rubbed surface texture that is lightweight and easy to slide on and off.
[Processing] The changes that nylon undergoes over half a century were expressed by artisans using their hands to create stains and color variations, taking advantage of the characteristics of silk, one piece at a time.
[Accessories] The zipper is made by Asahi, and the leather tab on the zipper puller is made of baby calfskin. The oxygen tab on the left chest is made of thick nylon herringbone tape, which was specially woven and dyed.
The ribbing is made of tightly twisted cotton, knitted in a dense stitch.
