MITTAN
Based on the history of clothing and textiles found worldwide, MITTAN proposes contemporary ethnic wear.
By reinterpreting flat structures and combining them with the inherent functionality of natural materials, we aim to create long-lasting clothing that is not swayed by fleeting trends.

-Production Background-
For our fabrics, we primarily use machine-woven textiles from various regions in Japan, such as Enshu, Banshu, and Bishu, as well as hand-woven fabrics from Asian countries like India and Laos.
Our designers visit the weaving mills directly whenever possible and are involved in unique material development.
Additionally, we mainly use cotton threads for sewing, and natural materials for accessories such as woven labels, quality tags, and buttons, with sewing carried out at affiliated factories in Japan.
For dyeing, in addition to standard dyes, we use plants, indigo, insects, and minerals, appreciating the uneven color transitions as a form of beauty.

-Regarding MITTAN Product Repairs-
MITTAN clothes are designed not for a single season, but to be worn for a long time, even when the fabric begins to fray. To ensure long-lasting use, we offer repair services.
Please see the details of repairs below.
-Regarding MITTAN Sizing-
MITTAN items are unisex.
Sizes are indicated as 1, 2, and 3.
As a general guide, 1 is women's M, 2 is men's M, and 3 is men's L.
Please choose your size according to your preferred fit, whether you want a compact look or a loose, oversized feel.
