YOKE
YOKE focuses on materials and patterns, adding contemporary elements to standard items, and proposing sophisticated unisex pieces.
The brand name YOKE means "to connect," "bond," and "the yoke of a garment," which aligns with the brand's concept.
Many people are involved in the process of creating a single garment:
raw material → thread → fabric → cutting → sewing → finishing.
It is through these "connections" that clothing is made. The brand carefully understands and connects these processes. It embodies the idea that "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things."
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College with a major in design, he gained experience at domestic brands and select shops.
After working in design and production management, he went independent in 2016. He launched YOKE with the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection.
"FRENCH MILITARY TRAINER"
A pair reinterpreted from 90s French military training shoes. It combines Italian suede, nubuck, and Cordura mesh, with Teflon processing for water repellency and stain resistance. This special order model features a breathable lining and a lightweight, high-grip EVA rubber sole, offering both functionality and a modern aesthetic.
