YOKE
YOKE focuses on materials and patterns, adding contemporary elements to standard items. They propose sophisticated unisex items.
The brand name YOKE means "connect," "bond," and "yoke (a shaped piece of fabric in a garment)," which aligns with the brand's concept.
Many people are involved in the process of making a single garment, from
raw materials → yarn → fabric → cutting → sewing → finishing
until it becomes a finished product.
A garment is created by these elements "connecting." YOKE thoroughly understands and connects these processes. The brand's philosophy is "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things."
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College's Department of Design, he built his career at domestic brands and select shops.
After gaining experience in design and production management, he became independent in 2016. He launched YOKE with the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection.
