"Vintage USMA HBT M-44 Jacket"
【Design】Based on the USMA M-44 HBT Jacket. To reproduce the 2-tone effect found in vintage clothing, two types of different herringbone fabrics with slight color variations are used. The front placket and left chest pocket have been enlarged and lowered for a more balanced fit. The gas flap on the front opening has been removed. The shoulder slope has been made steeper, and the armholes have been lowered while being sculpted to slightly curve forward, improving ease of wear.
【Material】The warp yarn is made from super-long staple slub cotton in a two-ply thread, and the weft yarn is a herringbone weave created by alternately striking strongly slubbed and lightly slubbed threads. This expresses the natural unevenness of warp and weft characteristic of vintage fabrics, which resulted from the low spinning technology of the time.
【Contrast Fabric】The outer fabric is a herringbone using 14-count single yarn for the warp and 12-count slub single yarn for the weft.
【Buttons】Original tack buttons
【Processing】The subtle unevenness of dirt and fade is reproduced by skilled craftsmen.
