A.PRESSE is a brand that adds value to our wardrobe. This is a project to think about and create the kind of clothes that will make it into the first team.
I have a problem where even though I buy a lot of different clothes, I always end up wearing my favorites.
That's why my fashion is so ordinary and boring.
To be honest, I want to increase the number of favorites.
I want to have lots of things that I want to wear every day.
That's all I have as a clothing aspiration.
If you look in a second-hand clothing store, you have a high chance of finding clothes that you can wear for a long time,
What I actually want is some modern clothes to go with the vintage items.
All the cool people around me are like that.
I admire how she skillfully mixes new and old things together.
Even though there is so much stuff and information out there,
Why can't you find a favorite to make the first team?
I was exhausted from all the unnecessary shopping.
In order to solve this mystery, I decided to create an editorial department that could both create and disseminate information.
"Vintage Zip Sweat Hoodie"
[Design] A zip-up hoodie that reproduces a vintage hoodie from around the 60's . The key feature is the small oval eyelets of the same size as those used at the time, which are difficult to obtain in Japan. The ribs of the vintage hoodie have been deliberately reproduced, becoming thin and stretched out, and designed with a collapsed silhouette. The waist pocket sewn on with a four- needle sewing machine is also a vintage-like feature.
[Material] The outer fabric is a hanging fleece created by analyzing vintage items. It can only be knitted at a slow speed of 1 meter per hour, but by knitting without putting extra strain on the yarn, it is thick but not stiff, and has a fluffy texture. The thermal lining is also created by analyzing vintage items.
[Processing] Following the vintage style, artisans have handcrafted the product to express uneven coloring and damage that changes over time.
* A characteristic of hanging fleece is that the heathered pattern is random, so there are individual differences between each piece.
* As each item is handcrafted by a craftsman, the texture of the finish may vary. Please understand that individual differences such as scratches and small marks are part of the design. By pursuing a vintage look, some colors are light-resistant. Please note that the lens may have poor quality and may discolor.
