"KUCHA"
Kucha, a natural material that can only be found in Okinawa, is used as the raw material for these objects, which are fired in a kerosene kiln.
Kucha is an Okinawan dialect word meaning "mudstone. It is a clay-like soil that has accumulated in the Okinawan sea over many years.
The clay itself has various expressions depending on the ingredients contained in the kucha and the power of the flame. Each piece is unique and each has a sense of power and beauty as if it were created by nature.
