Hender Scheme

Hender Scheme respects the differences in sex, but proposes a concept that transcends the gender schema structured by human experience and environment, without mediating gender in one's appearance. The brand name Hender Scheme is a coined word from the psychological term Gender Schema. By changing the first letter G of Gender to H, which is one letter after it in the alphabet, the brand expresses its concept of "transcending gender." In the field of "design," which belongs to social gender differences, the brand's concept is "to design freely, transcending gender without being bound by gender differences," and it emphasizes the balance between mode and craft to design well-balanced "things."

It features a flexible and comfortable fit, with a cutting that wraps around the thumb and instep, and a rounded sole design that supports the sole of the foot.
The upper is made of Italian vachetta leather, characterized by its thickness and elasticity due to oil. This material, ideal for single-piece construction, achieves the best balance by combining a soft feel against the foot with a firm hold.
The sole is made of three layers cut to different sizes down to the millimeter, and craftsmen utilize the difference between the inner and outer diameters to create an S-shaped form that fits the sole of the foot.
The outsole uses Vibram #8327, which is blended with Morflex for excellent cushioning and grip.
