The polyester taffeta material uses taslan-processed yarn that gives it a natural cotton-like texture, and is dyed with Komatsu Matere's unique "Surf Vintage" dyeing process to recreate the uneven texture of vintage fabrics. It also has the same water repellency as the original material.

Pattern & Detail.
Zippers on both sides of the front body make it easy to put on and take off, and also function as ventilation. Ventilation is also provided under the arms to improve breathability. The raglan sleeve pattern with a forward swing allows for comfortable movement around the arms. The hood is designed to be adjustable for a good fit and the brim length can be adjusted with dot buttons to ensure line of sight. A spindle is placed at the hem, allowing for functional changes to the silhouette. When not worn, it can be worn diagonally or packed into the abdominal pocket. Zippers on both arms allow it to be worn with short sleeves.
