The design allows for a variety of styling options, whether you leave the buttons open to wear it as a pullover, or buttoned up to wear it as a henley neck.
We also recommend layering your outfit by wearing a long-sleeved item underneath.
Fabric: COTTON × SILK / BATISTE CLASSIC STRIPE & PLAID
This original material was woven on an old-fashioned loom at a historic weaving shop in the Enshu region. The warp thread is made of GIZA100/2 cotton, and the weft thread is a cotton-silk blend, creating a classic and rustic striped and checked shirt fabric. The warp thread is made of extra-long staple cotton and the weft thread is made of a silk blend, which gives it a moderate sheen and a more luxurious feel than regular cotton materials. The threads that cut the stripes and checks are twisted and heathered, so they are not too sharp and combine with the ground to create a subtle pattern. The finishing wash process gives it a soft look, but by using a batiste standard, which has a denser weft thread than broadcloth, the material does not sag.
