YOKE
Focusing on materials and patterns, YOKE adds contemporary elements to standard items, offering sophisticated pieces that can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender.
The brand name, YOKE, means "to connect," "bonds," or "a piece of fabric used for joining," all of which align with the brand's concept.
Many people are involved in the process of creating a single garment:
Raw materials → Yarn → Fabric → Cutting → Sewing → Finishing.
Clothing is created when these processes "connect." By fully grasping and linking these stages, the brand embodies the philosophy: "Objects connect people, people connect people, and people connect objects."
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from the Design Department at Bunka Fashion College, he built his career at domestic brands and select shops.
He gained experience in design and production management before going independent in 2016, and launched YOKE starting with the 2018 Autumn/Winter collection.

Design
Easy pants made from wool cashmere flannel. Featuring a single tuck to provide room around the waist, they are finished with a beautiful wide-straight silhouette that falls cleanly to the hem.
Fabric
This gauze flannel, a blend of white cashmere and fine lambswool, possesses the smoothness of cashmere along with the volume and elasticity of lambswool, characterized by a soft, cocoon-like texture achieved through brushing.
