A skunk made by Isaias Jimenez (1961-), son of Manuel Jimenez (1919-2005), the founder of Oaxacan wood carving (wood carving made in Oaxaca, Mexico). The superb form and coloring, truly in the Jimenez style, are unique to Isaias, who has been assisting his father Manuel with his creations since he was a teenager.

Born in 1961.
Isaias, son of Manuel Jimenez, founder of Oaxacan wood carving.
He began assisting his father with wood carving as a teenager, along with his older brother Angelico, and honed his skills while learning the craft.

Even after starting a family, he continued to live with his father Manuel, so he expanded a part of his childhood home and established the Manuel Jimenez Museum. He actively participates in workshops for tourists and folk art exhibitions in other regions, dedicating himself to promoting his family and the museum.
