DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN
Descente Allterrain is a Japanese brand that was established in 2012. The collection makes use of the know-how that Descente has accumulated over many years of developing sportswear, and as the name suggests, which is a combination of the words "all" and "terrain," it pursues "true craftsmanship" that is not influenced by age, scene, or trends. All of the collection, including the iconic Mizusawa Down, is created under the concept of "Form Follows Function," meaning "everything has a reason and is designed with function."
"HARD SHELL JACKET CREAS"
A hard shell jacket from the 2024 fall/winter model "Clairs" series.
The outer material is made of ENTRANT(R) WINDTIGHT NYLON 3L, which has an excellent balance of water resistance and breathability.
The front zipper is equipped with Descente's unique dual ventilation system. The two rows of zippers and the mesh fabric placed between them allow outside air to enter and release uncomfortable heat and moisture that tends to build up inside the garment.
In addition to compactly storing the hood, the Parahood System*1 prevents water from pooling on the hood, making it ideal for use in bad weather such as rain. The cuffs are also equipped with block fit adjusters that provide excellent fit and maintain holding power even when wet with rain.
The hem is equipped with the Cohaesive(TM) cord lock system*2, which makes it easier and quicker to adjust the fit of the garment than ever before.
*1 A top-open zipper is used, allowing the hood to be opened quickly when needed.
*2 A cord lock system developed by Cohaesive(TM) Garment Technology. Special parts are used to integrate the fabric and the drawstring. Not only does it simplify the conventional complicated structure, it also improves convenience and durability.
