"Vintage Zip Sweat Hoodie"
[Design] This zip-up hoodie is a reproduction of a vintage 1960s hoodie. It features the same oval eyelets as the original, which are difficult to obtain in Japan. The loose, stretched ribbing of vintage hoodies is deliberately recreated, creating a distorted silhouette. Another vintage-inspired feature is the waist pocket, sewn on with a four- needle sewing machine.
[Material] The outer fabric is a hanging fleece created by analyzing vintage items. It can only be knitted at a slow speed of one meter per hour, but by knitting without putting unnecessary strain on the yarn, it is thick but not stiff, and has a fluffy texture. The thermal lining is also created by analyzing vintage items.
[Processing] Following the vintage style, the uneven color and damage that occurs over time are expressed by hand by artisans.
* A characteristic of hanging fleece is that the heathered pattern is random, so there are individual differences between each part.
