"1st Type Denim Jacket"
[Design] The number of buttons, pocket shape, rivet placement, and stitching color are based on the Levi's wartime model, but have been adapted. The length has been slightly extended to make it comfortable to wear without being too short.
The original design had a slight slope at the shoulders, which caused wrinkles to form from the shoulders to the armholes, but the silhouette was improved by lowering the slope at the shoulders and raising the sleeve cap slightly. Original tuck buttons are also used.
[Material] The fabric is made from 13oz red selvedge indigo denim, which is tightly woven to replicate the threads used in the 501XX from the late 50s to early 60s . The vertical fading gives it a beautiful vintage feel.
[Processing] A vintage-inspired piece with a wonderful finish that resembles an art piece. Crafted using a process that can only be achieved by hand, it has a unique feel.
* The original tack buttons are made of iron, so they may change over time and become blackened or rusty.
