The brand name "YOKE" means "to connect," "to bond," and "to change cloths for clothes," which is connected to the brand concept.

Many people are involved in the process of making a piece of clothing from raw materials, threads, fabric, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
Clothing is made when all these processes are "connected. We are aware of these processes, and we connect them to each other. The concept of "things connecting people, people connecting people, and people connecting things" is incorporated in the design.
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College with a major in design, he worked for domestic brands and select stores.
He became independent in 2016 after gaining experience in design and production management, and started yorking from the 2018 Autumn/Winter collection.
