Clothes are made by "connecting" these elements. We have a firm grasp of these processes and they are all connected. The idea behind the brand is that "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things."
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from the Design Department of Bunka Fashion College, she built her career at domestic brands and select shops.
After gaining experience in design and production management, he became independent in 2016. He launched York from the 2018 Autumn/Winter collection.
"TWEED BALMACAAN COAT"
This is a new material version of YOKE 's classic bal collar coat. This authentic single raglan sleeve bal collar coat has a large fit, so you can wear a thick knit or blouson underneath without any problems. The sleeves are single raglan, but the pattern is such that they flare out forward, and the sides can be opened and closed with buttons from the waist to the hem, so it is made with the intention of making it easy to access pants pockets and to look beautiful when worn. The collar has a tab, so the collar can be turned over neatly rather than with a separate chin tab.
FABRIC
This is an original tweed material that expresses the theme of this time, "black and light." At first glance, it looks like a normal herringbone by using heathered yarn for the warp and two types of loop yarn for the weft, but in reality it is a material with a deeper look. In particular, the loop yarn for the weft is made of a shining ester called spark yarn that is dyed gray, so it doesn't shine too much and has just the right amount of glitter. In addition, the linen is used for the warp to give it the right amount of firmness and stiffness, so the texture is not too loose and the tweed material has a unique texture with firmness within the warmth of the loop yarn.
