YOKE
YOKE focuses on materials and patterns, adding contemporary elements to standard items, and proposing sophisticated unisex items.
The brand name YOKE means "to connect," "bond," and "the yoke of a garment," which aligns with the brand's concept.
Many people are involved in the process of creating a single garment:
raw material → thread → fabric → cutting → sewing → finishing.
A garment is created by these elements "connecting." YOKE thoroughly understands and connects these processes. The brand's philosophy is "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things."
The designer is Norio Terada.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College's design specialization course, he gained experience at domestic brands and select shops.
After gaining experience in design and production management, he became independent in 2016. He launched YOKE with the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection.
"OMBRE PLAID REGULAR COLLAR SHIRT"
A regular collar shirt made from 100% Tencel ombre check fabric. The loose-fitting silhouette features two deep tucks on the sleeves for an accent. The buttons are made of shell with the brand's logo engraved. The garment is product-washed to create a natural wrinkled look and a moderate textured feel, as if it has been air-dried.
