Hender Scheme
While "sex" refers to physical and biological differences between sexes, "gender" refers to social and cultural differences. Hender Scheme respects the differences between sexes but proposes a concept that transcends gender schema, which is structured by human experience and environment, without mediating gender in one's attire. The brand name Hender Scheme is a coinage from the psychological term Gender Schema. By changing the initial letter G of Gender to H, which is one letter after G in the alphabet, the brand expresses its concept of "transcending gender." In "design," which falls under the category of social gender differences, the brand's concept is to "design freely beyond gender, without being constrained by male or female sex differences," emphasizing the balance between mode and craft to design well-balanced "things."
"flap wallet"
Made from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather generously infused with wax. A characteristic feature is that when rubbed, the absorbed wax melts and rises to the surface, creating a luster. This wax leather gains more luster with use and develops a rich patina over time.
The opening and closing flap of the body is integrated with the coin case and coin tray, creating a minimal structure that allows you to compactly store the bare minimum of bills, cards, and coins.
