This is an original material woven on an old-fashioned loom at a historic weaving shop in the Oshu region. The fabric has a very classic weave called toreori , and the intricately dyed kasuri thread creates exquisitely hidden stripes . The raw material is yarn spun from wool grown in Tasmania , Australia . Tasmanian wool from Tasmania is a producer of superfine wool , and has a very soft texture that feels good against the skin.
