DESCENTE ORTERRAIN is a Japanese brand that was born in 2012.
The collection, which utilizes the know-how that Descente has cultivated over many years in the development of sportswear, is not influenced by age, scene, or fashion, as its name is a coined word combining "all" (all) and "terrain" (terrain). We pursue "true manufacturing".
Starting with the iconic item Mizusawa Down, the entire collection is created under the concept of “Form Follows Function”, “everything has a reason and is designed with function”.

Among the Mizusawa down jackets, the Mountaineer is a high-spec model that pursues even greater comfort and functionality.
Non-quilted thermal bonding and seam tape processing prevent moisture impregnation and achieve high water resistance.
In consideration of wearing in bad weather such as rain and snow, the hood is equipped with a "para-hood" system*1 that prevents water and snow accumulation.
The dual zip ventilation adopted in the front zipper part takes in air from the outside of the jacket with two rows of zippers and the mesh fabric placed between them, allowing uncomfortable heat and moisture that tends to stay inside the clothes to escape. In addition, Descente's original heat-retaining material HEAT NAVI is used for the lining to keep the inside of the jacket at a comfortable temperature.

*1 Parazip is used for the hood, so the hood can be closed when not in use. Also, when you need a hood, you can quickly open the hood with Parazip.
