A.PRESSE is a brand that adds value to our wardrobe. This is a project to think about and create the kind of clothes that would make it into the first team.
I have a problem where even though I buy a lot of different clothes, I always end up wearing my favorites.
That's why my fashion is so ordinary and boring.
To be honest, I want to increase the number of favorites.
I want to have lots of things that I want to wear every day.
That's all I have as a clothing aspiration.
If you look in a second-hand clothing store, you have a high chance of finding clothes that you can wear for a long time,
What I actually want is some modern clothes to go with the vintage items.
All the cool people around me are like that.
I admire how she skillfully mixes new and old things together.
Even though there is so much stuff and information out there,
Why can't you find a favorite to make the first team?
I was exhausted from all the unnecessary shopping.
In order to solve this mystery, I decided to create an editorial department that could both create and disseminate information.
"M-51 Shorts"
[Design] A shorts version of the US military M51 . The suspender buttons and tourniquet side straps have been eliminated, and the thick silhouette has been updated to a moderate thickness for easier wear. Instead of the typical US military olive color, we chose a refined green with a hint of gray inspired by the aggressor color.
[Outer fabric] The outer fabric uses a medium-thick cotton single thread for the warp and uneven cotton thread for the weft, with a herringbone pattern pitch that is neither too wide nor too narrow. After being dyed a deep olive color with sulfur dye, it is given a vintage finish, and the uneven weft thread gives it a natural vintage feel.
[Processing] The atmosphere of the fabric has been further enhanced through product processing to give it a vintage feel.
